The Scandinavian cities are full of city cracks and in-between spaces, pieces of land not yes used but full of hidden potential!
This will be the topic for our panel when we connect the two domes in Copenhagen and Stockholm with a live dome-to-dome debate across borders.
For the very first time ever, Dome of Visions in both Copenhagen and Stockholm will host a public live debate across the sound in order to create an experimental dialogue for audiences in both countries. Each Dome has invited a panel of artists, entrepreneurs, urban activists, architects and cultural makers to engage in an explorative discussion on the topic “cracks of the city and the spaces-in-between”.
Together they will explore ideas and new initiatives while experimenting with proximity despite physical distances.
On location in Stockholm Björn Norberg, curator of the Dome of Visions, will moderate the conversation with Swedish guests:
Victor Marx – artist, activist and architect. For more info, watch the UR Artityd episode on him here [http://www.ur.se/Produkter/190199-Artityd-Victor-Marx]
Niklas Svensson – dep. city planning director
And Danish guests, on location in the Dome of Visions in Copenhagen:
Uffe Elbaek – politician, leader of the alternative party and former minister of culture
Oleg Coefoed – Cultura 21 Nordic and the Nordic network for Culture & Sustainablility.
Jacob Hartmann with the city of Copenhagen as well as
Martin Manthorpe – Head of Strategy and Business Development, NCC Danmark
The debate will be in English and the domes will be connected through a livestream set-up made by students from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.
Please join us in the Dome of Vision at Valhallavägen 79, the event is free and open to all. RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org
