The Future Imaginaries lecture & workshop day will be introduced through a series of presentations by Bettina Schwalm, Luis Callejas and Andreas Lang to open up a discussion on potential future designs.
The presentations are linked to the joint course on ‘Urban Ecologies’ and ‘Plans and Processes’ of the Sustainable Urban Planning and Design Program and aim at giving new perspectives for reconsidering local challenges in Nacka, Stockholm, through both large scale future scenarios to small scale local hands-on urbanism.
Hereby, new concepts of ecology for the fields of architecture, urban planning and design that inform these reconceptualizations of the future are debated and interrogated.
