GOOD FOOD – THE FUTURE OF FOOD är ett seminarium som handlar om hur vi äter hållbart och gott i framtiden. Det produceras av Dome of Visions i samarbete med Shuhuu och Open Lab.

Nya livsmedel, nya odlingsmetoder, vegetariskt, hälsa, odling i urbana miljöer, nya och förkortade transportvägar och en hållbar livsmedelsprodukton för alla människor. Hur ser visionerna ut och hur behåller vi lusten till maten?

Seminariet lyfter fram begrepp som ”agritechture” och låter oss prova nya livsmedel. Flera spännande föreläsare kommer att delta och ge sin syn på den goda maten.

By 2050, it is projected that there will be 9.2 billion people on the planet, and recent estimates suggest that food production will have to increase by 70% if we are to feed everyone. How do we feed our growing population and what will we eat in the future? At Future of Food we explore the future of food and how to use urban space and natural resources that already exist, in
order to meet the growing demand for food. What are future
potential foods and nutrients? What does the future of food distribution look like? How can we connect taste and the satisfaction of food to new food inventions and trends?
Through an interesting mix of short talks and discussions by guests from fields ranging from academia, art & culture, food startups and restaurants we will explore new foods that already exist and what the future might bring. Participants will also get the chance to try out some of the new foods made of cricket flour, alges and azolla.

The seminar Good Food The Future of Food is arranged by SHUHUU, Dome of Visions and Openlab and ties into Dome of Visions programme theme ‘Energised by nature’ which runs from December to February.
